American Heart Health Programs 10:00 AM and 10:30 AM & FREE Blood Pressure Screenings from 10-Noon

In observance of American Heart Month, the library will host two timely presentations to raise awareness on the importance of having a healthy heart. Personnel from Iroquois Memorial Hospital will be at the library to lead the discussion on Thursday morning, February 20. “Ways to Live a Heart Healthy Life, From Age 1-100” from 10:00-10:30 am will be presented by Marsha Hubert, Registered Nurse. “Eat Smart for a Healthy Heart” will be led by Holly Issac, Registered Dietitian from 10:30-11:00 AM. Everyone can benefit from learning ways to keep their hearts healthy. In addition to these programs, blood pressure screenings will be done from 10:00 to Noon. This program is free and open to the public. Sign up is not required.
